Frequently Asked Questions

Always feel free to contact me by email with any additional questions

Both! I have an office in San Francisco and San Mateo and also work over Telehealth. Some clients choose a combination of both in-person and online depending on their schedule.

Truly, it depends. Most individuals and couples will see improvement quite quickly, though it's very important to continue the work until we believe the change is durable. Some people (including myself) use therapy for periodic processing time every few weeks -- those kinds of sessions can continue as long as it is working for you.

Generally, once per week (occasionally more) in the beginning. As you begin to see change, it can make sense to meet less frequently.

Officially: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Brainspotting. Most therapists combine lots of approaches to best support you in reaching your goals. I often combine CBT, ACT, Psychodynamic and Attachment Theories with Brainspotting to work with both your cognitive and nervous systems together.

I have completed my masters degree in Counseling Psychology (from Golden Gate University) and am now officially registered as a mental health provider in California. Associate therapists are completing the final part of their training: gaining 2000 client-facing hours while being supported by a fully licensed clinician (in my case, Hannah Stutz)

It's a bit complicated sadly. Email me with specific questions. If you pay out of pocket, I can provide you with a 'super bill' which you can use for reimbursement from your HSA or insurance company.

$175 for a 50 minute session. $260 for a 90 minute session

Yes. I hold a few spots for people who can't afford the whole fee. Contact me if you'd like to discuss that further.

No therapist is a perfect  fit for everyone. The best way to find out if we should work together is to have a quick video meeting

If I'm not the right fit for you, I might have some suggestions of other therapists you could try.
